By effectively coordinating, prioritizing, and executing critical projects throughout my career, I have been able to impact for-profit and nonprofit outcomes. Your organization’s objectives will be immediately benefitted by my skills and qualifications. In fact, I am probably checking my LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram feeds as you read this—and not just because of FOMO. Because I’m someone who wholeheartedly believes in the power of sharing ideas in online communal spaces, and I’m positive that I can help spark meaningful conversations as your next team member.
I have worked in organizations of all sizes and levels of digital capacity, from both inside and outside the org chart, from designing and supporting programs to serving as an on-the-ground grassroots activist to fundraising and philanthropy. I know how to organize volunteers, constituents, leverage digital systems, tactics, and tools to help our organization grow our movement and win impactful campaigns. That is why I am the perfect candidate for your team.
I have worked to make the community aware of racial injustice, voting rights, economic injustice, 2SLGBTQIA+ rights, reproductive injustice, health care, food security, climate equity, etc. through multiple activism channels and protest strategies.
The mission of the Pensacola Young Professionals is to share our passion for and belief in the Pensacola area, and to act as a catalyst for positive change in our community
Kiwanis looks out for our communities and take on large-scale challenges, such as fighting disease and poverty.
My experience in the non-profit sector has been mostly through my experience as a member of the Kiwanis International-family of organizations for almost twenty years. Kiwanis International is a global organization dedicated to improving the lives of children one community at a time. Kiwanis empowers members to pursue creative ways to serve the needs of children, such as fighting hunger, improving literacy and offering guidance. Some of my Kiwanis awards that I treasures are – three time Distinguished Club President (in three different states), one time Outstanding Lieutenant Governor, and one time Distinguished Lieutenant Governor. Kiwanis International gives “distinguished” and “outstanding” awards to individual Kiwanians that meet an established criteria that demonstrate special dedication to service, membership strength, and Kiwanis education. In Kiwanis, I was told that “a leader is one who leads, so lead by example”.
The Academy is a nine-week, hands-on, interactive inside look to the inner workings of the City of Pensacola and its Departments. Tours and demonstrations make the course both informative and fun.
